Family Ties

Office goodbyes have always been sad events. But we Filipinos manage to male them fun by putting in the food element. 2013 will be known as the time when there was an en masse departure from the company. Some good things never do last. But we just move on to greener pastures I suppose. Can't wait for mine!

Watching Ironman 3 with my brothers brought me back to the time when one was single and the other was still a student. Weekends were spent in gluttony and watching movies. How I miss those days. But we do grow up and lead our own lives. What remains is that bond that time cannot just simply break. Onwards to the next decade! Middle age never sounded so good!

Brave

Our fate lives within us. We only have to be brave enough to see it.

Idle

There are really some days when all you want to do is just stay in bed and sleep. This is one of those days. After 3 days of excitement in Ilocos Norte, I guess fatigue finally caught up with me. Not! I am just one lazy bum!

Run Forrest Run

Resignation is like a break up. You will be able to gauge how much you were really loved or what is your worth in the company's eyes.

It seems that 16 years may not be seen as enough of a service to warrant fair treatment. Just goes to show that no one is indeed indispensable. I would have expected more from a global institution. But maybe, it's just us Asians who put a premium to longevity in service.

Davao was a great place to visit. Only thing was we never considered that most of the shops would be closed on Holy Week. So Davao isn't the same as Baguio or Boracay which are so called sin cities during Lent. Still, it was nice to be able to savor the durian flavor again and finally get one of the best massages from a blind person at that!

Mid-April is fast approaching. I cannot wait to see what is in the box of chocolates!
