The adventure begins

Two law school professors, Ms. Araceli Baviera and Mr. Domingo Disini, recently passed away one after another. It is these great legal stalwarts that used to teach those who passed through the portals of Malcolm with such enthusiasm and love for their craft. Indeed we are the beneficiaries of their teaching law in a grand manner.

But I look at my law school experience with mixed emotions. I felt proud to be studying in the so called best law school but at the same time I felt unease at such an attitude being developed, that so called feeling of supremacy. I kept on thinking that med school would have been more suitable for me.

In the end, there was an earth-shattering reason why I had to become a lawyer. And up to now, I continue to realize why this path was chosen for me.

The journey never ends. For it has just began.
