Slow clap

It was to be an eventful day. But i had no inkling it was to be so dramatic. We were coming off from a fun affair of a bridal shower. As we were ushered in the room, I could sense the apprehension in their faces. What was this all about? And as the boss then dropped the bomb, Carl suddenly bawled loudly. I tried to reassure her but to no avail. Haidee followed with words like hindi mo man sinabi sa akin. I fetl like I betrayed them. As Johnny went out, Lorna who had been in tears said Ang daya niyo po. Johnny came back in with a tissue box. i took some and it was my time to speak up. I rambled. I babbled. In the end, nothing could assuage their sadness. So Roy stood up and said a few words and then slow clapped which everyone followed. It was an ending that I didn't expect. And which I will always cherish. 

According to Tricia, My also cried. Jona meanwhile had the temerity to tell Johnny - so it's you who isn't leaving? I was flabbergasted. 

This was too unreal. As Tricia said - I never so anyone else leave this place that people cried over - and then gave me a hug. And so it ends.
