Last and first
Today is the Pope's last day. Watching the tributes on television makes one think more of how momentous is the occasion. To sacrifice oneself for the good of all mankind. Such a powerful love for Christ! I pray that the next Pope will save the Church from its own downfall.
Today is the first day of the rest of my life. I have a very good feeling about my scholarship interview. I felt that my answers were a product of my experience and of God's mercy that He should have bestowed on me such wisdom to discern and craft the most appropriate of responses. I just hope Karen, Steph and Anna did find me interesting and ambitious enough to be a future policymaker.
The scholarship is mine to claim. I wait and hope that Cambridge will come calling too.
